Today in human geography we talked about the Greek words and phrases. We went over all the definitions and I got a better understanding for what they mean. We were told the correct definitions for our words and learned more about the phrases. We learned a lot about Socrates, the Greek philosopher. Socrates way of thinking changed the mindset for everyone after him. He challenged the common way of thinking. Socrates found answers for things that did not make sense. We learned about how the Greeks came up with Democracy. I learned that the men of the town got to vote in the polis. We learned a lot about the Greeks that we did not know today.
